Instead, the release of the movie has been officially postponed, thus avoiding the conflict with the other movie, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” featuring Ranveer Singh.

In his statement, Yash said, “This film is made for a global audience, and we wanted to make sure that people across different regions of the world could see it at the same time.”
He said:
“Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups” is a film we conceptualized with the vision to create cinema for a global audience. Filmed in Kannada and English, it is built with the conviction to connect with viewers both at home and across the world.”
Yash said, “While we were looking forward to its release in March, the current global scenario doesn’t allow us to reach out to a maximum number of people.”

Also announced along with the postponement of the film were its new release dates.
